DBB-060
The Base I/O Board plugs beneath the Delta Control Unit (DCU) to configure it as a high performance controller for direct digital control of the various HVAC and other building services.

The Base I/O Board provides 16 universal inputs and 16 universal outputs that are software configurable as digital or analog. Each universal input is provided with a status indicating red LED. It is configured to the input signal type through its associated input selector block located adjacent to the input. Active sensors (e.g. 4-20 mA transducers) can additionally be powered from the 24 VDC terminal located on the board (maximum total current draw of 200 mA dc).Universal outputs supply 0-10 VDC to output devices connected at the output channel lower level terminals (maximum current draw of 20 mA DC).

A Plug-In Module socket associated with each output allows each output channel to be optionally configured with a Plug-In Module. Depending on the model type, inserting a Plug-In Module can configure manual override capability for the output channel by providing a switch and, if required, a positioning dial. At the same time output status indication is provided via a green LED also located on the module.

DPM-065xx
These series of Plug-In Modules provide additional capabilities to the Base I/O Board and various I/O Expansion Boards. The modules allow the Delta Control Unit (DCU) and Base I/O to be tailored to specific applications. The type of Plug-In Module used is ‘auto-sensed’ by the Delta Control Unit (DCU) upon power up. Auto-sensing simplifies setup.

The Plug-In Modules are powered by the Delta Control Unit (DCU) through the Base I/O Board and provide their extra features to existing physical outputs on the Base I/O Board or various Expansion Boards.

DXC-052-3
The PC/104 Ethernet Expansion Card plugs into the Delta Control Unit and provides high speed peerto-peer access between distributed controllers over an industry standard Ethernet LAN at 10 million bits/s.

Using Ethernet allows Delta panel communications to operate in existing or new Ethernet networks. In addition, Ethernet can be configured as a wide area network to provide a permanent high-speed connection to various remote sites being monitored and controlled from a central OWS location.

An Ethernet network may also use fiber optic cable with appropriately installed transceivers.
